That sums up my Mom perfectly....Mom has always put our needs first; she rather saved the money that she earned from baby-sitting for her children, instead of buying cosmetics and going to facial spa to beautify herself. Yet, she never complained but stand firm and still manage to smile everyday...and behind the smile, the lines of age are clearly seen....that particular afternoon, we brought Mom for a pampering makeover and photo-shooting; she was really enjoying the process, seeing herself beautiful.....but to me, regardless with make up on or not, she is always beautiful in my heart....

Bag of Love October Edition: Say Boo!

Hi beauties!!!

If you have been following my blog frequently you'd know that I'm a fan of Bag of Love ^_^ Bag of Love is one of the booming beauty box subscription in Malaysia, but instead of a box, it comes in a bag...and the bag design varies every month!! I had my first encounter with Bag of Love in late April this year....I was selected as one of the 30 bloggers to attend the Unzipping Bag of Love Tea Party at Delectable Treats by Su...Thanks to The Butterfly Project, I got the chance to have my first hand on Bag of Love April edition...The event has actually became my turning point to venture into the blogosphere more meaningfully, although I'm busy with my work schedule (Talking about busy...you would have no idea how busy I am almost every single day!!!! That explains why I don't update this blog as frequent as I would have wanted to x_x )

Ok...enough of my rambles :P In this post, I actually wanted to introduce to you the Bag of Love Halloween edition; the Bag of Lice!!!!

I think it's kinda cool of Bag of Love to be a bit funny to name its Halloween edition as Bag of Lice...I mean, every other beauty box want to be as glamorous or as pretty as possible, but only Bag of Love able to be witty in view of the Halloween...and it works!! I have amended a little bit from the original creation though, due to change in the list of the collaborators... anyway, guess what, the Sparty happened to be almost the same like the above illustration haha...the services were arranged station by station just like the above...each of us was given a set of coupons to redeem a service: Manicure, Mask, Massage, Pedicure and Facial...

Well, before I bring you to a tour of all the stations, let's have a peek on what's inside and what was happening on that exciting afternoon  (*⌒∇⌒*)

Remember the post where I gave my 3 big reasons why I want to attend The Butterfly Project's Spa Party?

Guess what, my wish was granted ^_^

And the dress code for the Spa Party a.k.a. Sparty? It's bathrobe and flip flop....

I have all the stuff in tact, except bathrobe (aww, why the most important thing >.<")...days before the Sparty, I went to Sogo during lunch hour to look for a bathrobe at its newly renovated 'Home & Living' department...but I couldn't find one at all...there are quite a number of mannequins wearing bathrobes, but none of the bathrobes are for sale  /(;-_-) The bathrobes are really meant for display and decoration only....Then I went to Isetan and Parkson as well, but the bathrobes on sale are damn so expensive like more than RM200 per piece  ﾍ(;´Д｀ﾍ) (why so expensive????!!!!) Walked whole day at MidValley and 1Utama, couldn't find also, aih.... (or my mind was blind already couldn't see one even just in front? lol...)

Luckily on the very last day before the Sparty, I found A LOT at Giant Hypermarket while doing my grocery...nothing fancy, but there are so many colors to choose from...Finally I bought the color aqua blue, to match my flip flop  (￣▽￣)ノ

Bag of Love April Edition: The Green Bag

Hola beauties :) 

This blog post is on the little beauty bag by Bag of Love of April's edition. I know this is way long overdue but I've been very, very busy with projects at work, down with flu and then away from the country for a week so, please please bear with me >.< Thank you for your understanding... :')

As April is the Earth Month, Bag of Love is going green too in honour of the mother nature...The bag is made of bleach-free canvas and the little tag inside of the bag is of recycled non-woven material ..although it is made of eco-friendly material, it doesn't look 'sluggish'....in fact, the wording "little beauty bag" made the bag a very adorable bag indeed ^^ Love love love the wordings :D :D

La la la...remember some time back, I posted about the "Unboxing Tea Party" that I wanted to attend?

I know it's kinda 'late' to announce now – was tied up with project timeline, and then 'attacked by virus' one by one for good number of days (migraine -> flu -> fever -> cough -> sore throat; in that order =.="), at the same time was away cruising on the wide ocean :P

Anyway.... I was selected as one of the 30 bloggers to the event on 27 April, woo hoo!! ~^^~

I was in the Session 1 with another 14 bloggers...albeit still down with flu, I made my way to Paradigm Mall to be part of the event :D It was a sweet event full with sweet cakes and treats accompanied by sweet beauty bag...and of course, sweet pretty girls ^_^
