innisfree Malaysia First Anniversary Private Party - Having Fun by Playing Green :D

Since its debut in Malaysia one year ago, innisfree Malaysia has garnered a lot of supports and love from fans; myself included o(^∀^*)o At such, in conjunction with the 1st year anniversary, innisfree Malaysia has recently held a private party (which was yesterday btw; 5 December 2015) -- 1st inni-versary -- at Royale Chulan, KL with selected inni-Friends. It was a blast and very well-planned, and my Sister and I definitely have had a lot of fun there ヽ(^◇^*)/

The event was beautifully set up and incredibly well-done; picnic-styled party and I like it very much! It's very true to its 'Play Green' theme; very eco- feel, very 'green', with all the wood pallets, benches and tables, green 'field', flowers, trees and natural sunlight! I personally think that Royale Chulan therefore is the best venue for 'wannabe' garden wedding or any outdoor events; the weather in Malaysia is so unpredictable with its hot sunny sun, and then suddenly raining with thunderstorm, so it would be great to have an indoor venue but with outdoor ambiance, hehe (and with air-conditioned (─‿‿─) )

XIXILI Ladies' Party at KL Sogo - Girls just wanna have Fun :D

Last Saturday afternoon (31 October 2015) was a fun afternoon for me. I attended the XIXILI Ladies' Party at KL Sogo, which was held from 12.30 to 3.30pm. It was the first time I attended a XIXILI party, or a lingerie brand party to be precise, and I wished I had went to the many parties organised by XIXILI before!

I was supposed to attend with Mom, but unfortunately she couldn't make it at the very last minute. So I went alone worrying whether I would get bored in the 3 hours time, but I think I worried too much; XIXILI organised the best ladies' party ever! o(^∀^*)o

So, all these years I shopped at Sogo, I didn't know there's this 'Promotion Corner' which serves great as event space at the 1F Ladies Gallery ヽ(^◇^*)/ It's near to a shoes brand's gallery (I didn't notice the shoe brand though) Probably because it's quite hidden and that I also seldom frequent that corner?

(6) O Banh Mi

Non-halal

O Banh Mi prides itself on making their bread fresh in store. The banh mi (banh mi is a Vietnamese baguette) was baked to a light crisp on the outside, giving way to a soft, fluffy interior, tasty enough to have on its own or with a nice slather of butter. O Banh Mi also serves a selection of other Vietnamese fare apart from their delicious bread.

Beef Noodle Pho is the latest addition to the menu. Pho a type of Vietnamese soup, typically made from beef stock and spices to which noodles and thinly sliced beef or chicken are added. As I don't take beef, I didn't taste the noodle. But from the girls' feedback, it was good and delicious :D

#MakanMakan Food Hunt: 10 Restaurants Must-try at 1Utama [Part 1]

Ever since I moved to PJ about 3 years ago, 1Utama has been my favourite shopping mall. The large shopping mall has everything I need!! And when it's time to feed my hunger or just to satisfy my craving for tea and dessert, it could really be a dilemma as there are just too many choices *.*

Fun Fact: Do you know, 1Utama is the World's 4th Largest Mall (by CNN)  ≧◡≦

So I was grateful that I had the chance to experience a gastronomical #MakanMakan Food Hunt at 1Utama :D There were 10 participating F&B outlets for this 1U #MakanMakan Food Hunt and we were to visit all 10 from 11am to 4pm. The outlets stretch from LG Food Street to 1F Highstreet, so basically we were exploring 1Utama from end-to-end, New Wing to Old Wing, in the 5 hour time frame @.@

Shizens Exclusive Private Workshop - All about Youthful Skin!!

Shizens caught my attention not too long ago, when I first heard of the brand during the launch of the "Stand Firm Stay Firm" campaign. The brand has been around for few years yet I only aware about it just recently, haha...pardon me for being ignorant, but well, I was only started to have interest in beauty products since last year so I guess it's not a biggie...:P

Anyway...Shizens is a home grown brand here in Malaysia, and is propelling its expansion nationwide and also regionally. Sunway Pyramid Fashion Confectionery: where Fashion just got Sweeter

Spring is here!!! And if you haven't know, May is the fashion month for Sunway Pyramid ^_^ It was named as "Fashion Confectionery" -- what a cute and candy-licious name!!! Oh well, most women would go weak on sweets and fashions, so I guess the name just fit perfectly, hehe....The event, in partnership with HSBC, will run from 1 to 25 May at Sunway Pyramid's Ground Floor Water Feature Area.

Last Sunday afternoon was a hot day. A very hot, sunny day...hb and I were heading to AEON Metro Prima Kepong although a lazy afternoon on the sofa at home was more appealing lol...Reason being, I was selected as one of the participants for Bio-essence Mega Face Lift V Face Challenge :D

Bio-essence was known to always organize such event, where about one hundred or two participants will challenge the efficacy of its products. Last year, I also joined the mega challenge on the Miracle Bio Water :) I think it's a good marketing program; it means the brand is confident with its products that it invites the public to challenge the product efficacy...

The Bio-essence Face Lifting Cream is now enhanced with Royal Jelly, apart from its existing ATP ingredient. It was said to have sold over 6,000,000 bottles thus far. Impressive huh???!!

Casual Afternoon with LC Derma Skin Care

The event was held last Friday afternoon at W XYZ Bar, Aloft Hotel KL (located just beside KL Sentral). In the email invitation, it was stated that LC Derma would be inviting an Aesthetics Clinic Doctor to perform an interactive demonstration and introduction for their full range of products, but nah....it was just a casual affair; no stress, no exhausting activities, no extensive product demo....just a simple chit-chat like session....to be honest, I was a little bit disappointed actually, because I have set my expectation on the 'workshop'...but anyway, it's ok :p

Christmas Pampering Treats by Aupres

Just before entering December, the month of giving and loving (Christmas month mah!!), I spent the lovely morning with Aupres (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) I have heard a lot about Aupres (French for "next to you, close to you") being one of the favourite brands in China, so this morning was a great opportunity for me to discover more about Aupres.

When I reached Aupres counter at Parkson Pavilion, I saw that the beauty advisor was serving another customer. So I went to walk around for half an hour, came back, and the customer was still there =.=" The customer was there for the pampering treats too, so it means she has cut queue eh...anyway, 10 minutes later finally it was my turn, although my session was supposed to start 40 minutes ago...ouch wasting my time!!

Self-empowerment with Dove Empowerment Workshop - the best event I have attended so far

I never knew that Dove is always committed to inspiring all women and girls to reach their full potential. Dove supports partnerships with after-school programs, self-esteem building events and educational resources. Dove also supports a partnership with Alliance for Women in Media. There were also workshops designed for girls, the Dove Self-Esteem Workshop for girls, to empower girls and promote new ways of thinking about beauty, body image and self-esteem with positive self-esteem building discussions and activities. Back here in Malaysia, Dove has set up the Dove Empowerment Fund, where via this fund and collaborations with various women organizations, Dove helps under-privileged women towards a better and more meaningful life. Recently, Dove has also organised the Dove Empowerment Workshop, where 100 selected women were brought to a series of self-esteem and empowerment exercises. And I was selected as among the 100 lucky women :)

Actually, this workshop invitation came to me by chance. I was merely sharing my concern on my hair fall problem via this Dove FB App. I have never expected that I would be chosen, but now I was so glad that I was and has attended the workshop, because it's the best event ever that I have attended thus far!! This workshop has really taught me a lot of life lessons!!

The workshop was held on 9 November 2013, at Impiana KLCC Hotel & Spa. As each participant was allowed to bring along a friend, I invited my dear Sis along...

Delight-able Clarins Double Serum Event at Parkson Pavilion

Clarins has always been a brand that I'm interested in yet I have not bought any of its product yet...I missed the Clarins "Total Luminescent" Beauty Gathering some time in March because of Shakura....so I must not miss this Clarins "Double Serum" event woit!!!! Lucky me for seeing the event announcement on Clarins FB  :D

So the event were to start at 10.30am. I went with hb, and we reached Pavilion at about 9.15am. Why so early you might think. Because there would be door gift for the first 50 pax in line ^_^ However we realized there was no point to reach so early as the entrance doors were monitored closely by the security guards...everyone who walked in before the Pavilion official opening hour at 10.00am was chased out, including us. So we had our quick breakfast at a coffee shop, walked to the main entrance, and patiently waited until 10.00am. Boy, there were already so many people including tourists waiting outside!!

Once the main entrance door opened, I could see a few aunties who walked pretty fast towards the Parkson direction...whoops!! They could be here for the Clarins event too!! So we walked faster too and once we reached the Clarins Skin Spa at Parkson...oh no!!! There was already a long queue!! We quickly join the queue, although we were not sure if we were still within the first 50 pax. The first thing that we wondered was, how did they come in? Weren't the doors monitored by the security guards? There must be a secret entrance lol...

Early last week, I received a call from an unknown number and the lady on the phone spoke super soft that I could barely hear what she said. I remember I asked her to repeat few times lol, and finally I got it that I was selected as the lucky 200 to be part of the Zurich TrueLady Tea Party ｡^‿^｡

I got to know this event from a social media site I think...I just registered my details, shared with Sis on the event, then have almost forgotten about it lol...the phone call was a day brightener though....sweeter is, Sis was also selected, so we went together, yeah!!! \(^.^)/

Biotherm Pampering Session with Michelle Tay: Introducing the Aquasource Deep Serum

Do you love soaking in the hot spring? I do, it's kind of a therapy for me to relax my body, to cleanse my skin, to kill germs lingering on my skin hehe...but really, you do feel happier and stress-free after a nice hot-spring bath, no? But how does hot spring can improve your skin? 

It's the thermal plankton, a micro-organism found in the hot springs, especially those that found in the hot springs of the Pyrenees Mountains. Hair Beauty and Wellness at Street Love X Aveda "A Pampering Hair Day"

The first Saturday of this month was an eventful day!!! My schedule was full from morning till evening, together with my Sis...Let me tell you why, in this post and also next post, hehe   =^v^=

Since my hair makeover at the Aveda Experience Center, I become very interested with Aveda and wish I could have more!!! (I can't understand why I didn't pick up one or two Aveda products then) So when I knew about Street Love collaboration with Aveda for a hair pampering day, I wasted no time to register my sister and myself for the event  ヽ(＾▽＾)ﾉ
