Love Life. Love Coffee. Love Food.
These three little sentences, although short, is meaningful enough to what sets Pretz n' Beanz apart from normal café. Note that the logo is a blend of these three elements:
✿ Pretzel on the left
✿ Coffee Bean on the right
✿ The Chinese character "人" (pronounced as "ren", which means human)
The Pretzel and the Coffee Bean are tied together in a heart shape, which symbolizes the their love and passion for both pretzel and coffee. The Chinese character "人" expresses their love for human race, thus they serve people with love from their heart. And thus love life, love coffee, love food (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)♥♥
I went to the Mont Kiara outlet on last Saturday noon (16 January 2016). Set amidst the trendy landscape of Solaris Mont Kiara, Pretz n' Beanz serves scrumptious, soft pretzels and freshly brewed coffee all day long, in a fun, trendy and cosy ambience. A trip to a good café always make me in a cheery mood -- the aroma of freshly baked pastries, the fragrance of freshly brewed coffee and tea, accompanied by delicious food and friendly crews.
Caffe Latte
(RM11/cup)
Gourmet Tea Earl Grey
(RM8/tea bag)
While waiting for the food, I indulged myself with my all-time favourite tea, the earl grey. The gourmet tea bag made a nice fragrant earl grey that instantly lifted my mood. Tasted also the caffe latte, which was brewed to a perfect blend of espresso and steamed milk. The hot drinks were perfect to warm up my tummy to prepare for the next good thing -- the food!!! ヽ(^◇^*)/
Pretzel
Admittedly, it's not easy to find good pretzels in Malaysia (or is it me?) Well, I don't usually find pretzels in the menu of any other café that I went to. And because of this, Pretz n' Beanz fills the gap just nicely at the right time. With their special in-house dough recipe, it's no wonder that their pretzels are soft, warm and fluffy on the inside. I seriously believe that the pretzels are made specially for me to delight my senses and warm my tummy (°∀°)
Prepared fresh, pretzel connoisseurs can enjoy a wide array of exciting pretzel flavours such as the recommended all-time favourite, Cinnamon Sugar and Basil Cheese.
Cinnamon Sugar
(RM6.25/piece)
Coated with cinnamon and brown sugar, this gotta be my favourite pretzel from now onwards hehe...I love the balanced taste of the sugary coat that is not too overly sweet, and went perfectly well with the pretzel pastry...now I hope Pretz n' Beanz will open an outlet right next door to me so that I can grab this every morning (─‿‿─)
Basil Cheese
(RM7.30/piece)
The basil cheese pretzel was a delight for my taste bud too. Crisp on the outside, yet with a soft chew within, I found that this fragrant and savoury pretzel convey the feeling of warm and fresh-from-the-oven. Coated with mozzarella cheese, dry basil leaf and sea salt, it would make a great snack all-day long!
Pretz n' Stew Green Curry
(RM17.90/set)
Craving for a comfort food?
Then the succulent homemade stew, served with freshly baked plain pretzel and veggie sticks, would be the perfect choice. The green curry gravy and the pretzel made the perfect combination -- a plain baked bread dipped into a hot, savoury stew -- qualified enough to be my comfort food at all time (▰˘◡˘▰) The boneless chicken was juicy and tender, allowing me to chew the meat effortlessly. And the veggie sticks; they were the crunchiest vege that I think children will love them alike! Came together with the carrot, cucumber and celery sticks was the mayonnaise (which I think was the tartar sauce) for a delight dipping.
With all these combinations of fluffy plain pretzel, succulent stew and crunchy veggie sticks, I couldn't think of any reason to resist this amazing dish (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)♥♥
Pretzel Pizza Hot Pepper Chilli Chicken
(RM15.80/7" or RM22.15/10")
This was my most favourite; the ultimate pizza with a twist!!
When you love both pizza and pretzel, why not combining the two to make an awesome pretzel pizza? Came in a huge layer of pretzel dough topped with pizza sauce, chicken meat, capsicum, onion and mozzarella cheese (or other ingredients depending on your flavour choice), the pretzel pizza has now officially become my top list of pizzas.... (at point of writing, I am now craving for this pretzel pizza one more time ヘ( ̄▽ ̄*)ノ) The dough was baked into perfection fluffy and coupled with the fresh topping, I could't forget the deliciousness of this delicacy!!
I think this pretzel pizza would easily capture the heart of any pizza lovers. Or maybe any pastry lovers. One thing I know, I would come back for more for sure. It's really creative of Pretz n' Beanz to pioneer this wonderful delight in Malaysia.
Volcano Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream
(13.65/set)
This dessert offered an intensely chocolate cake that boasts a warm, liquid center. In addition to its great flavor and alluring contrasting textures, the volcano chocolate cake has always been my one of my favourite sweet treats. To top it up, a large scoop of vanilla ice cream was just perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)♥♥
Other than pretzels and pretzel pizzas, there are also a variety food served at Pretz n' Beanz, such as thick toasts, waffles, all-day breakfast sets and sandwiches. For those who prefer heavier meals, can go for the fish& chips and the various pasta dishes. In other words, Pretz n' Beans is a perfect café that cater to all walk of life, of all ages. It's also ideal for holding parties at this cosy café.
While you can't buy happiness, you can however buy good food and coffee. With good food and coffee, it would almost instantly lift our happy enzymes. And you can now buy that at Pretz n' Beanz (▰˘◡˘▰)
