Last month, from 12-18 August, Yves Rocher organised a La Gacilly Special at Mid Valley. You can buy a RM50 Beauty Discovery Package which was redeemable for RM50 worth of products and also included full skin analysis or professional makeover with photoshoot, skin moisture check, scent personality discovery and fun photo session. There were also plenty of promotions, discounts and GWP.

Well, I didn't buy the Beauty Discovery Package, but I won the Makeover and Photoshoot  ( ^∇^ )

Biotherm Pampering Session with Michelle Tay: Introducing the Aquasource Deep Serum

Do you love soaking in the hot spring? I do, it's kind of a therapy for me to relax my body, to cleanse my skin, to kill germs lingering on my skin hehe...but really, you do feel happier and stress-free after a nice hot-spring bath, no? But how does hot spring can improve your skin? 

It's the thermal plankton, a micro-organism found in the hot springs, especially those that found in the hot springs of the Pyrenees Mountains. Legend has it that Gallo-Roman soldiers visited the springs to rest and to heal the wounds of battle. Luckily, it can be found in the luxury skincare Biotherm for us to enjoy the benefit...yeah!!!

Hair Beauty and Wellness at Street Love X Aveda "A Pampering Hair Day"

The first Saturday of this month was an eventful day!!! My schedule was full from morning till evening, together with my Sis...Let me tell you why, in this post and also next post, hehe   =^v^=

Since my hair makeover at the Aveda Experience Center, I become very interested with Aveda and wish I could have more!!! (I can't understand why I didn't pick up one or two Aveda products then) So when I knew about Street Love collaboration with Aveda for a hair pampering day, I wasted no time to register my sister and myself for the event  ヽ(＾▽＾)ﾉ

Shakura Pigmentation Beauty Salon – not so beauty after all...

If you search "Shakura Pigmentation Beauty Salon review" online, you will see not so favourable remarks about this beauty salon chain...there are positive reviews too, but it's very, very few compared to the negative reviews...in this post, I'm gonna share with you my experience and view on this...

Slightly more than half a year ago, while shopping for the coming Chinese New Year, there was this girl approached me to buy the RM18 voucher for 1st facial trial at Shakura Pigmentation Beauty Salon at Paradigm Mall...the trial promotion included 1 session of pigmentation facial therapy, 1 home care set and 1 free mystery gift...

Usually, I would just brushed off this kind of selling approach...I'm in the opinion of, how good can a facial be when it's only RM18, or RM38 like those in group buying sites? But on that 'fateful day', I gave in and purchased the voucher after much persuasion from that girl!! I remembered fondly I was still in disbelief mode after the purchase and hb was actually not too happy about it...
