Sumptuous Breakfast at Amadeus Bistro & Wine Bar

The reason why I like group buying sites is probably the exposure of some dining outlets that I have never came across before...One such is the Amadeus Bistro & Wine Bar, an upbeat, contemporary European Bistro that serving some great European Cuisine. This dining spot offers a cosy, quiet refuge for patrons to have lunch, dinner, coffee, or just to chill out and have a chat with friends. Its food style includes French, Germany, Italian, Greek and Mediterranean.

I knew about Amadeus via Groupon Malaysia, where there was a 39% off for Breakfast Set for 2 people. This Breakfast Set is of RM33.80 total value (after discount is RM24) and comes with (for a group of 2):

✪ 2x assorted Danish pastries ✪
✪ 2x croissants ✪
✪ 2x servings of fresh bircher muesli ✪
✪ 2x glasses of fruit juice ✪
✪ 2x Main Entrée ✪
✪ 2x cups of freshly brewed coffee OR tea ✪
✪ 2x fruit yoghurt ✪

I think it's a good deal and therefore bought 3 vouchers (3 sets for 6 people)...I went there with my family about 2 months ago (I know, it's so long time ago, please bear with my super busy schedule lol) and we had an awesome breakfast there   ∩(︶▽︶)∩

Do you know what is "bircher muesli"? It's a popular breakfast meal in Swiss German, that consists of uncooked rolled oats, fruit and nuts, soaked in fresh fruit juice or milk. Amadeus serve the bircher muesli in fresh milk. This is the first time I tried it and it tasted good, but given a choice I think I still prefer cornflakes or coco-crunch lah, haha...maybe I'm not so used to this lah, haha.... ヽ(´ー`)ノ

The pastries were very fluffy, very nice to eat, and I like it a lot (●´∀`●)  I think Amadeus should expand their business; perhaps a cake house or a bakery shop, haha...

Let's check out the Entrée that we ordered ;-)

Dusk till Dawn (RM13.90 value)
3 fried eggs, hash browns, baked beans, beef bacon streaky, chipolata, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomato and French toast.

As we do not take beef, we requested to replace the beef bacon with chicken or turkey ham. The staff was very accommodating ^_^ Some bistro and restaurants I know are not so flexible, that they follow strictly the menu =.=" But did you notice? There were only 2 fried eggs instead of 3...haih, is it because this is discounted? Not sure, but not a big deal to us...Take more than 2 eggs daily is not so good for the body right? LoL.... ^_^

Rise & Shine (RM12.90 value)
3 egg omelets with onions and cheese served with sauteed mushrooms, hash brown potatoes, and roasted tomato.

Morning Glory (RM12.90 value)
Eggs Florentine served on English muffin, toasted turkey ham, wilted spinach and topped with rich hollandaise accompanied by fresh berries compote and salad.

Hawker Time (RM9.90 value)
Scrumptious fragrant coconut cream rice served with spicy sambal shrimp, fried anchovies, hard-boiled egg, roasted peanuts, and chicken rendang.

Basically, this is Nasi Lemak dengan Rendang Ayam in the local language, LoL...

I do not want to sound like I'm overly praising the food, but the food was really good and delicious!!! Based on the feedback from my family members who dined together, the food were not overly done or under cooked, portions were generous, tasted great and very fulfilling  (´∀`)♡

The only flaw I noticed was perhaps due to this deal the bistro had not enough manpower to serve the patrons, even during breakfast time which shouldn't be a peak hour for a bistro...the service was good and the staff were polite, just that they would miss one thing or two  (as there were many items in the breakfast set)...

Overall, we had a very good dining experience there, although it's just a breakfast :P I will definitely recommend Amadeus to friends, and come back again perhaps for lunch or dinner  〜( ̄▽ ̄〜)
