Calm seas never make skillful sailors...

Chinese New Year is coming yet I haven't bought any new clothes for myself... Although I have an ample of time, I just don't have the mood to go out and spend my money; scared that my saving is finishing in no time...

While my FSTEP friends have been starting to look for jobs or have been working at their host FI for a month now, I have just finished updated my resume...ahaks, one of my friend said, "You are so cool about it!!"

Argh, I just don't want to rush this time and feel regret later...I have been making decision harshly in the past...This time, I want to be very sure of what I would like to do...Although money is the main issue, I don't want to be sorry of myself later...

But then, nobody knows what would happen in the future...I may like it now, but months later I may be totally hate it...been there, done that...

Anyway, I have to grow up...I can no longer 'run' away from bumpy roads and settle elsewhere and then run again...I have to face the problem bravely and solve it smartly...the result I believe, it's like a feeling of paradise....

I shaked hand with Julian Wynter, the CEO of Standard Chartered Malaysia...

Today is the 7th (or 6th?) installment of the prominent leader talk....fstep has invited Mr Julian Wynter, the then Managing Director and CEO of Standard Chartered Malaysia...

During the Q&A session, i posed a question to him asking his comment on the glitch of the standard chartered KL Marathon run and how it affected StanChart since it was the title sponsor for the run...

He said Standard Chartered was just a title sponsor and not the real culprit behind (of which i acknowledged...) He also said that Octagon, the organiser, has sent them explanation and apology letter...

When i was just about to go for break, i saw him again at the lobby of Darul Takaful... i shaked hand with him and thanked him for the talk earlier...

And guess what... he said sorry to me for the unpleasant experience that i had during the marathon and pat my shoulder at the same time... what a very gentle and down-to-earth man!!!

He also personally assured me, that the marathon next year will be fine and that StanChart will ensure that the organiser will not repeat the same mistake...he hope i will participate in the marathon in 2010...of which i think i will... :)

Update @ 23 November 2012: Sorry, the past tense for 'shake' is 'shook', not 'shaked'...and I didn't participate the StandChart marathon 2010 due to personal matter....
