Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Placenta Serum for a Bounce Bounce Skin!!

What??!! Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Placenta Serum??

Yes, because one ain't enough, thus two makes a good combination to achieve a 'boing boing' skin~

Early morning skin looks best when I have a goodnight rest; the minimum 8 hours sleep...which is something that I lack of for the past few years....in my early 20s, I can sleep less than 3 hours and my skin still look awesome....but now?? Miss a goodnight sleep, and I would be wearing a tired skin for whole week =.="

Meet Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Placenta Serum~

Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a skin hydrator serum; it is able to absorb water 100 times its weight, making it an excellent moisturizer for the skin. Which is pretty impressive, because you need not worry anymore that the moisturizer that you apply would be 'gone' in no time~

This serum is formulated with added lysolecithin, a component of the cell membrane that helps to speed up the penetration of hyaluronic acid into skin. Below is the full list of the ingredients~

The serum comes in a cute little bottle with a dropper. After cleansing my face and applying toner, I would dispense about 3 drops onto my palm, then rub my hands together and gently spread onto my face and neck. The serum would changed into small molecules (when rubbing) to ensure maximum absorption into the skin.

I love the texture. It's very concentrated, with texture similar to essence, and comforting to the skin. The serum penetrates fast into my skin, and leaving an instant smooth and soft feeling thereafter. I can feel that the serum is helping to plump up and increase the firmness of my skin.

Apparently, the Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum is also able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles~ however I couldn't testify on that, due to I do not really have wrinkles yet at the moment (oh well, let it be just like that forever, lol~)

Mika Placenta Serum

Mika Placenta Serum is a wrinkle eliminator serum; it restrains the melanogenesis process (which cause the appearance of pigmentation, brown spots and dull looking skin). This serum could works with epidermal growth factor to improve the cell to cell communication, for further accelerations of cell growth process.

The formulation works by improving the oxygen supply to the skin cell and synthesize more protein for better skin radiance and youthfulness. There are three ingredients that I would like to highlight:
  • Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract: To rejuvenate aged tissues
  • Pueraria Lobata Extract: To stimulate the development of new skin
  • Chlorella Vulgaris Extract: To restructure and smoothen the surface of skin

Below is the full list of the ingredients~

The Mika Placenta Serum have pretty much similar texture like the Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum. After using this serum, my skin radiance has increased slightly, which is pretty good because I do really need a solution for my dull-looking skin! Apparently, this serum also helps to strengthen the skin against premature photo aging.

Towards the Bounce Bounce Skin

Yep, by using the Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Mika Placenta Serum together~ With the benefit of hydration and protection against aging, combining these two serums would help the skin to achieve a moisture balancing and at the same time to control the skin oiliness. And in no time, the 'boing boing' feeling would come; you'd feel that the skin history is reversed, lol~

All in all, I'm a satisfied user of the Mika serum, and I'm sad that the bottle size is so small (10ml) !!!

Have you also tried any Mika Serum? Share with me your takes on the serum ^_^

  1. I read your post on Mika Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Placenta Serum and it's amazing. Thanks for sharing the details about these serums and the ingredients used. However, I am using SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum which works well on my skin. Can you review this also?
